The October 2011 POTM is the Webkinz Black Cat. 
This is the first time in Webkinz history that a Seasonal pet has been made the Pet of the Month!

There will be a new Curio Shop Only theme soon!

Coming soon to the Curio Shop, the Neo-Gothic theme is a beautiful bold black and pink colored arrangement of intricately illustrated interior design. 

There is a new Click-To-Win event at Webkinz Newz! 

On August 31 and September 1st and 2nd, go to Webkinz Newz and catch the floating Tour Van to win a Spree Dirt Road tile. One prize per account per day.

On September 4, catch the same van for a Red Road Trip Hat. On September 5, the prize is a Red Road Trip Tee Shirt. One prize per account per day. These are the last Road Trip prizes for the year, so catch them while you can!

Wednesday Updates August 17

The Adventure Park launches today!

In case you're confused, the Adventure Park is a new section of Webkinz World. It contains several cool quests and exclusive prizes.
You can only get into the Park with a Pink Pony, Spotted Frog, Spotted Leopard, Chimpanzee, Mud Hippo, or Koala (Lil'Kinz Koalas included). 

The only downside to this new feature is that if you already have one of the above pets and you adopted it before August 3, 2011, then you can't do any of the Adventure Park quests. 

Complete with a pretty loading screen. Shiny~

And this is just a very small fraction of the place. Lil'Kinz Koalas can get into the Park, too.

Keep in mind that the Park doesn't run very well if you have a lot of other programs or tabs running at the same time.

For 12,500 eStore points (12.50 in US dollars) you can buy any of the Adventure Park Pets from the eStore, in online-version only form.

Fights In Webkinz World!!!

Have you ever been in webkinz world when you see two other players fighting or being mean? Well I have and now I am showing you what I have seen. If you have seen fights or meaness please comment or show us a pic.

 

I was in the restaurant room having fun when all the sudden all this was popping back and forth on my screen and luckily I got photos of it.

Hello everyone this is me KeiKei  and today I am doing a story on "eStore Pets". This is  the first time ever we are going in to webkinz world and asking you! First let me say hi to Ember in webkinz and I hope you like This!! Let's start!
First up we have:
Bianca: female, arctic fox . "Yes I love them and I have three of them! :) "
Ember: female, fire fawn. "yes I like them a lot "

Angelica: female, white terrier."I hate them!!! because they are mean! :( they just are! "

Charlie: male,  German shepherd ."I don't like them because they do no have a toy and that is it."

 

I ask 10 webkinz players and 2 of them did not like Estore pets. that is all from me scout  aka

 keikei!

Super School Day

Today is another Super School Day at the Academy!


Super School days normally occur about once a month, but lately they have been showing up every Friday. Will this be a normal event? We'll have to wait and see.

Kinz Chat+ update

KinzChat+ is working again!

Webkinz World Working Again+KC+ Closed

Webkinz World, Webkinz Newz, and Ganz eStore are all working again. 

Webkinz players could log in again at 1 AM, but not all of them successfully. As the day went on, it seems as if more and more problems are being fixed.

Kinz Chat+ is CLOSED.
Ganz stated on their Twitter feed about an hour ago, that,

We're taking KC+ down for now. Our monitoring tools aren't working properly, and we've got to be safe. Will let you know when it's back. 

However, just plain Kinz Chat is still working.








 


 

Webkinz World Currently Down

The Webkinz World, Webkinz Newz, and Ganz eStore sites are all currently down.

Do not panic; this is not because Webkinz is ending.

Ganz has stated on their Twitter feed that,

Our server host has had a major power failure. Currently bringing them back up. Could take an hour or more. We appreciate your patience.

So far, five hours after that update, the sites are still not working. We will just have to be patient until everything starts working again.

FIRST UP!

The eStore (the one already in WW) has been updated. 

You can now buy virtual Mazin' Hamsters, pets, charms and figurines directly from the eStore in Webkinz World. 

There's a new theme at the W-Shop!
Come to think of it, there's a new theme every month. 
Anyhow, this theme is the Super Fan Theme. 

I really do like the theme--it's like an upgraded version of the Trading Card themes. What do you think?

The Rooster POTM Video is now working at Webkinz Newz. 
Now you can listen to the August 2011 Pet of the Month, the Rooster, sing "It's A Beautiful Day" at Webkinz Newz. Afterward, answer some trivia to win a Farmer's Wife Straw Hat for your pet. 

5 new recipes have been added. 
They are Mataruck-Lucks, Glopsrisma, Keeleebabs, Wanapaneer, and Worblewraps. 2 are made on the stove, 2 in the blender, and one on the sandwich maker. 

There are 5 new Adoption Exclusives at the Wish Factory. 
They are the Speedy Scooter, Enchanted Garden Fountain, Happily Ever After Cake, Wild Water Ski, and Bubble Wrap Chair. For some reason, however, the Bubble Wrap Chair only goes in underwater rooms, not indoor rooms. Ganz has stated that they are looking into the issue. 


In additional news, for some reason, the Yellow Springtime Chick is available at the eStore again. 
What is strange about this is that the Chick is a Seasonal eStore Pet, last sold in March 2011. Also, a Blue Springtime Chick and Purple Springtime Chick were for sale also. This time, just the Yellow Chick is for sale. 

And, last but not least...
The PSI and PSF for all the September 2011 Pets have been revealed!
In a surprise move, they are all revealed at the same time! 
First, the Brilliant Bandit...

Eh. The dress is cool, but I'm still not liking the sequins.

Now, the Signature pet for the month, the Black Footed Ferret.

The ferret looks really cool, and the PSI looks nifty!

And then we have a pet that wasn't announced previously: The Big Top Elephant. This is a Virtual-Only pet, and we haven't been told how one would go about getting one.
