Hey, everybody. This is a new project here at Let's Talk Webkinz: a Newsletter! A new one will be posted every Friday, so keep on the lookout! It's a collaborative work between myself, Carmen, and Keikei, but at the end, you'll find a form to submit your own stories, poems, and Webkinz pictures!

Click-To-Win Failures
Webkinz fans that stop by Webkinz Newz may be pleasantly surprised to find a floating, spinning dial wandering about the page. According to the WKN article, clicking on this dial should give you a piece of Zodiac clothing.
However, fans who have tried may instead respond to this dial with a sigh of irritation and an attempt to ignore it. Why is this?
The answer is simple: Because the event is not working.
Upon clicking on the dial, WKN appears to struggle with finding the page. When it does, all you find there is a message that blatantly states:
Warning: Page has Expired
This page is no longer available.
Refreshing the page; going back, finding the dial, and clicking on it again; waiting for a few hours and coming back; going to another page on the site--none of these work. Do not take this as the official reason, but my suspicion is that one department wrote the article announcing the event, another set it up so the dial would fly on the days it was supposed to, but then the department that was supposed to tell the site to [click dial>go to page with form on it>send item to account] had their computer break or something of the like. 3 days into the event, and absolutely nothing has been announced about attempts to solve this being made.
Fans are frustrated, impatient, and annoyed with this unfortunate series of events.
Customer Service Issues
Especially considering the Click-To-Win issues, Customer Service at Ganz has been tied up all week, with most folks reporting that they can't even get on the phone with them. If you have an issue with your Webkinz World account and would like to try your luck with the lines,
the phone number for Webkinz Customer Service is 1-866-932-5469.
In other news...
The Pet of the Month for April is confirmed to be the Hedgehog, and the POTM for May is the Wombat.
The Leprechaun will be running about the Clubhouse starting March 7, and ending on March 17. Read the WKN and Let's Talk Webkinz articles for more details.

Well Guinevere (my Webkinz Dreamy Sheep) is here to help; she knows all about fashion. Guinevere has some great tips, outfits, and some shopping secrets, she would like to share.
Outfit Tips:
When shopping always remember these tips:
#1: "Look at the Color" It's all about color, never ever buy a bright color anything unless you have an outfit that you need it for.
#2: "New does not mean better" When new clothes come out every one wants to buy them, but the pricey pieces aren't always the best idea. They often don't look good with anything else.

Trading Hall News:
The Trading Hall can be a bit scary, that's why Skylar Tune (My Harmony puppy) is here to help. Skylar knows all about the trading hall and she would like to share some helpful tips and secrets, so let's get started.
Getting Started:
Before you go to the Trading Hall look at your dock, check to see if you have Rare, exclusive, Pet of the Month, Webkinz Care, Super Beds, trading card items, Charm Forest, Woodland Wonders, trophies, PSI, clothing, or Deluxe items. If you have that, then great, you are ready! If you don't have that, than look around your house for any items like that, that you would like to trade.
Going To The Trading Hall:
Before you go to the Trading Hall look at your pet, check to see what your pet is wearing and what pet is going to the trading hall with you. When you go to the trading hall make sure you dress the best. Try to wear rare, Deluxe, eStore, or retired clothing. If you wear things like that then other Webkinz will think that you have rare, Deluxe, retired, or nice things to trade. Remember that cool, rare or eStore hats are always good. Now look at your pet: try to use the newest Webkinz you have or an eStore or signature. If they see you with a new pet with a good PSI than they will think you have good PSI's.
Making A Trade:
When you are Trading always be kind, but also remember don't give things away for free. If someone says it's rare, but you're not sure, then:
A. Tell them to hang on, and open another window and look up the items and see if it's rare.
B. You can be like me and have a list of rare things, and check to see if it's rare.
or
C. You can take their word on it and make the trade.
When you go to the Trading Hall you need to know the value of your items. Some items are in higher demand than others. Back in October of 2011 everyone wanted the Timber Wolf PSI so, because everyone wanted it, it made the value go up.
