October 2012 Pets Announced!

Good news for dog lovers, because this October adds 7 colorful canines to the list! (Fun Fact: this means there are 133 different Webkinz dogs! This includes Signatures and Wolves, but not Lil'Kinz...think you can name them all?)

Our first pet is the Meerkat! We actually already know how this little guy looks online, due to his image being leaked in Webkinz World's newspaper before the plush was even announced:

The second is the Grape Soda Pup, which cute and looks very cuddly, but is essentially a purple Cream Soda Pup (August 2010 release).

The third is the Spotted Spaniel, which is pretty darn cute!

The fourth is an addition to the Wolves: the Black Wolf!

October's Signature pet is the Signature African Wild Dog! Just look at those ears!

Still holding out hope for a Holiday Cat, though.

Also to be released in October is the Holiday pet for 2012: The Snowflake Pup!


And if you think that's a lot of dogs: wait, there's more! We'll also be seeing the Fall 2012 Rockerz Pets in October!

Get down with the funky Rockerz Poodle, which represents the days of disco! Note the disco ball on its tail--clever!

Next up is the Rockerz Bunny, which represents hip-hop! Get it, because...it's a bunny, and...bunnies hop...yeah. And yes. It actually comes with a dollar sign necklace.

The words on it say "Island Rhythm".

Or perhaps you'd rather have a Rockerz Dog, who represents reggae?

Or a Rockerz Horse, who represents country and has a very pretty design?

By now, there are pets for the following genres:

August 2012 Pets Revealed on WKN

The first pet announced is the cutest monkey around, the Golden Lion Tamarin!

What lovely colors it sports.

Next up is the next addition to the collection of mythical and fantasy horses, the Sapphire Pegasus!

Its wings are a little too close to its head, though, but it is a very pretty Pegasus!

The third pet is the Texting Puppy. Yes. There is officially the personification of texting, and it is in the form of a small dog.

...that's just a lil' bit nutty. Wonder how they're going to fit so much text onto its virtual form?

Back to the simpler things with the Signature West Highland Terrier.

We have 2 new Rockerz pets to add as well!

 We start with the Rockerz Monkey, which you can see by its mark is a "Punky Monkey".
Much better in the ways of a pet using text as a pattern; much less going on. Love how the tail's a completely different fabric, too.
Do not confuse with last year's Mohawk Monkey! Yes, they both are primates with funky hair, but the Mohawk monkey is beige and has fluff around its ankles, is not in the Rockerz line, has pink in its hair, and is not quadrupedal.

Next is the Rockerz Papillon (Pop Star Papillon, you can know it as)

That funny-lookin' mitt around its paw is actually some sort of bracelet. (Fashionable Asymmetry, I guess?)
I would so give that headband to a Razzle Dazzle Dog, just to see how it looks.

Ganz Reveals Webkinz Boxer; Mega Modern Room Theme

July 2012 is going to be a Webkinz-filled month--this is the 5th pet revealed, and we're not at the Signature yet! The pet shown is the Webkinz Boxer, a happy little guy.

"Mega Modern" it may be called, but I'm detecting more of a sci-fi appearance. Also, note the full, built-in window that's just begging to be ruined by an improperly placed door usually found in eStore walls.

We also have a new W-Shop theme coming up, the first half of which will be released in tomorrow's Wednesday update.
It is called the Mega Modern Room Theme, and the first half consists of the following:
Cryonic Comfort Bed
Stasis Sofa
Omni Glass Coffee Table
Luminorb Floor Lamp
Synthopane Floor Vase
That's a mouthful!
Also, in an unspecified fashion, you can win the following items from WKN:

Glowing Coffee Table, Glowing Vase, and Glowing Lamp. Basically the table, lamp, and flower found in the theme, only glowing and bluer. Placing a Glowing Vase and a Floor Vase on either side of a piece of furniture would work nicely, though.

WKN Reveals Webkinz Coyote and Sunset Giraffe!

Two more pets for July 2012, the Sunset Giraffe and Coyote, have been revealed on Webkinz Newz.

The confident and courageous Coyote is first up...

...followed by the silly and sweet Sunset Giraffe! A welcome addition to the Webkinz Giraffe Family.

Three July 2012 Webkinz Pet Plushes Revealed at Webkinz Newz

We'll start with the Tropical Island Pup. If this pet looks awfully familiar, it's with good reason--it was released in October 2011 as a Cracker Barrel Exclusive. As of July of this year, though, it can be found in all Webkinz retailers!

As such, we already know its PSI (Beachside Gazebo) and PSF (Fresh Flower Cocktail).

This here is the Alpaca, which is among the cutest Webkinz of 2012 so far in my book.

And this is the FrooFroo Fox (yes, all two words) which resembles a dog or maybe even a cat rather than a fox.

WKN Reveals May 2012 Signature: Signature Normande Cow!

Here it is, in all of its spotted glory!

Some people are saying that it looks kind of mean, but I'm thinking that it looks more serious than anything. Can't wait to see what it looks like virtually!

WKN Reveals 3 May 2012 Webkinz Plush Pets!

First is the Lilac Guinea Pig!

Cutest tiny Capybara ever. ^ ^I really like how they've arranged its spots.

Next is the Mallard Duck...

Yay, Mallard Duck! I've been hoping that they'd make one for a while now! Unfortunately, its plumage makes it forever a male (female Mallards are completely brown), but hey, I'll take what I can get.

And finally is the Pink Dalmatian!

Its design is perfect! Not too many spots, not too few, the colors fit perfectly...and it has the most charming face!

Last 2 April 2012 Webkinz Plush Releases; 3 Virtual Pets Revealed on Webkinz Newz

And, as I thought, the Lil' Purple Piglet has triplets/siblings/clones/counterparts/etc..

They are the Lil' Blue and Lil' Green Piglets, and the three are identical in every way except for the color of their fur, PSI, and PSF.

Also coming soon to the eStore is the Sizzling Swan, a blazing bird that comes with a Firey Fountain PSI and a Fish Fillet Flambé PSF. A pretty PSI there, despite its blatant irony...

The 6th and final regular Webkinz plush of April 2012 is the Stormy Dragon, which sports lovely iridescent horns, feet, and a belly, an adorably goofy gaze, and an overall appealing appearance.

The Signature April 2012 pet is the Signature King Charles Spaniel, which is cute, even if it looks a little depressed...maybe that's because it's looking for a friend? *shrug*

Ganz Posts Plush Image of Webkinz Pizazzy Puppy

April 2012 is showing a sudden increase in new Webkinz, in comparison to the usual 4 per month we've been seeing. And we still haven't seen the April Signature!

This is the fifth announced April 2012 Webkinz, an addition to the family of Webkinz puppies known as the Pizzazzy Puppy. Its features include the fur pattern and texture that those who have met a Pretty Panda might recognize; a pair of particularly fluffy, pink ears and curled tail, both decorated with strands of tinsel; a purple muzzle and chest; and a shining pink nose.

It seems to be based off of a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, guessing from its frame and ears. Pizzazzy indeed! I'm liking this one already. What do you say?

Ganz Releases Plush Images of April 2012 Webkinz Pets

They include the Plumfadoodle, Sloth, Sabertooth Tiger, and Bichon Frise. None of their virtual images, Pet Specific Items, or Pet Specific Foods are yet known, and they are all scheduled for release in April 2012.

Here we have the Plumfadoodle, a more magenta cousin to the Blufadoodle, who also appears to be the closest thing Webkinz World has to a flamingo--note the shape of its beak.

This is the Sloth, a friendly fellow.

Here's a familiar face: the Webkinz Sabertooth Tiger, who is the fourth eStore pet to be made into an official plush; the previous four being the Bubblegumasaurus, Woolly Mammoth, Wolf, and Springbok. However, the Bubblegumasaurus looked just like its eStore counterpart, and even came with the same PSI and PSF. Hopefully, the Sabertooth Tiger will not have the same done to it.

And finally, we have the Bichon Frise. What a cute one it is!

Wednesday Updates 15/2/12

WKN Posts Sneak Peek of Webkinz Cuddly Koala

The Cuddly Koala pet will be in stores March 2012.

I find it to be much too pink and sparkly for my liking. Perhaps if the sparkles around its eyes were removed, and more colors were added so it wouldn't be entirely pink, then I would like it more. Still interested to see what its PSI and PSF are.

Plush Image of Webkinz Welsh Corgi Posted at Webkinz Newz

The Webkinz Welsh Corgi will be in stores March 2012! It's perfectly made, with its big, perky ears, fluffy fur, shining round eyes, and short, small stature. I can't wait to find one in stores!

WKN Posts Sneak Peek of Webkinz Radiant Rhino

The Webkinz Radiant Rhino will be in stores March 2012.

The electric blue is an awesome color on this pet. However, its sparkly tail and feet look a little out of place.

Plush Image of New Webkinz "Curly Camel" Posted at Webkinz Newz!

This cute camel will be in stores March 2012!

We'll have to wait a few weeks to see what its PSI, PSF, and virtual image are. Until then, I'll just be fawning over how adorable this Curly Camel is! (despite its lack of curls.)
